I have been learning Arabic for just over 3 years now. It has been an incredible experience that has also led me to a love of Palestinian and other Middle Eastern cuisines, Arabic music, new friends, and a deep compassion for a people living under a brutal occupation. This is the story of my experience learning a new language and beyond.
